Digital Control Lab
Founded by Dr. Karl Gugel, Digital Control Lab (DCL) started its life in 1998 as an electronics consulting firm known as DiCon Labs. During the early years, DiCon Lab was contacted by a leading cement manufacturer to replace microphone-based systems for real-time mill loading measurements. The result was the first generation of MillScan products. DiCon Lab then expanded with new marketing and engineering personnel to form Digital Control Lab. DCL is presently on its 4th generation of MillScan systems and has an installed base of over 400 MillScans worldwide.
